Alysa Liu is an American figure skater who became the youngest ever US figure skating champion. In addition, she is the 2021 CS Nebelhorn Trophy, Lombardia Trophy, and U.S. national trophy holder.

She is the daughter of an immigrated Chinese lawyer, Arthur Liu along with his ex-wife, Yan "Mary" Qingxin. Moreover, she has four siblings named Selina, Joshua, Justin, and Julia.

Alysa Liu was born on 8th August 2005 in Clovis, California, the United States. She was born to her father, Arthur Liu, and her legal mother, Yan "Mary" Qingxin. 

Her father is an attorney who immigrated to the U.S. from Sichuan, China after the Tiananmen Square massacre. He graduated with M.B.A. and J.D. degrees in California. As per her DOB, she belongs to the birth sign Leo. By nationality, she is an American and belongs to the white ethnicity.

As per her education, Liu attended Chinese School and then switched to the Oakland School for the Arts. But due to her skating career, she couldn't attend school and she began homeschooling.

According to Wikipedia, she was conceived through an anonymous egg donor and a surrogate mother. She is the eldest child of her parents. She grew up along with her four half-siblings named Selina, Joshua, Justin, and Julia.

Talking about her career, Alysa is one of the youngest U.S. women's national champions in figure skating. In fact, she won her first-ever title at the age of 13. Furthermore, she won the title of junior and senior titles back-to-back. 

Moreover, Liu is best known to be the first American youngest female skater to complete a quad jump and land both a quadruple jump and a triple Axel in the same program.
