Born to Catholic Father and Jewish Mother

Born on April 3, 1986, in Thousand Oaks, California, Amanda Laura Bynes was the youngest of three children. Among the two siblings, her sister Jillian Bynes is an actress who appeared on The Amanda Show (1999) along with Amanda while her brother Tommy Bynes is a Chiropractor.

As for Bynes' parents, her father Rick Bynes is a dentist and her mother Lynn Organ is a  dental assistant and office manager. Her dad is Catholic and is of Irish, Lithuanian, and Polish descent while her mom, who was born to Canadian parents, is Jewish and is of Poland, Russia, and Romania descent.

Amanda went to Thousand Oaks High School from where she graduated in 2004. In 2013, she joined a course at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Irvine and completed the course one year later in 2014.

Began Career as a Child Actress

Amanda Bynes learned acting at Young Actors Space. She had already started her professional acting career at the age of 7: she appeared on a television advertisement for Buncha Crunch candies.

Bynes has also performed on stage on Annie, The Music Man, The Secret Garden, and The Sound of Music during her childhood. She rose to fame after she appeared as Holly Tyler in the WB sitcom What I Like About You from 2002 to 2006.

She made her film debut with the 2002 comedy movie Big Fat Liar. She has since starred in numerous successful films such as What a Girl Wants (2003), Robots (2005), She's the Man (2006), Hairspray (2007), and Easy A (2010).

Relationships and Pregnancy Hoax

Bynes has been involved in several romantic relationships. She first dated American actor Seth MacFarlane. The couple started dating while they were working on the same television series, Family Guy. They broke up shortly after. 

In 2020, Bynes took her Instagram to announce that she was engaged to her boyfriend Paul Michael. Just after three weeks, it was announced that they have parted ways but the break up news turned out to be false.

In March 2020, the All That star announced that she was pregnant with her first child but later she deleted that post and it was confirmed that she was not expecting a child.
