Andrea Roane (5th October 1949 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the United States of America) is a former American journalist, reporter, and news presenter who announced her retirement on 25th April 2018.

Before retirement, she used to work for CBS affiliate WUSA as an anchor. Previously, the Emmy award-winning reporter served for WYES-TV, WWL-TV, WETA TV, and many more.

Roane was born on 5th October 1949 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the United States of America. However, the identity of her parents and siblings is still unclear. As per her DOB, she belongs to the birth sign Libra. By nationality, she is an American and belongs to the Afro-American ethnicity.

While she was studying at the Lousiana State University, Andrea began working as an English teacher for a high school. After her graduation, she started her journalism career as an education reporter for WYES. 

After that, the journalist went to CBS affiliate WWL-TV and worked there for 2 years. Roane returned back to WYES-TV in Washington, D.C.

In 1979, she joined WETA as a chief correspondent and host for the Metro Week. Furthermore, Andrea rose to fame as she started working for CBS affiliate WUSA as an anchor. On 25th April 2018, she announced her retirement from the news business.
