Brittany Ishibashi is a Japanese American actress who has notably appeared in television shows such as Political Animals, Runaways and Supernatural, and in films including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. She has been married to her husband Jeff Horowitz with who she shares two children.

Daughter of Musician Parents

Brittany Ishibashi was born on November 2, 1980, in Orange County, California, the United States, to parents Gerald Ishibashi and Lisa Ishibashi. Her father is a musician and concert promoter while her mother is a former singer.

She was raised along with siblings, sisters Brianna Ishibashi and Brooke Ishibashi. Her sisters are popular actresses and writers. Her grandmother Mary Nomura was also a singer.

 She is of American nationality and Asian ethnicity. Ishibashi stands at a height of 5 feet 4 inches and she weighs 55 kg.

Appearance in Political Animals

Ishibashi is a graduate from Jordan Elementary School and El Modena High School. She received her degree majoring in theatre from the University of California, Los Angeles majoring in theatre.

Ishibashi learned acting at UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, and following her graduation she played recurring roles in numerous television shows such as The Office, Grey's Anatomy, and Supernatural.

In 2012, Ishibashi portrayed Anne Ogami on the USA Network television series Political Animals which was nominated for Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award. She has also appeared in the original Netflix series, Grace and Frankie, and in the feature film, Everything Before Us.

In 2016, Ishibashi played the role of Karai in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. In the following year, she starred as Tina Minoru in the Hulu original series Runaways.

Married Husband Jeff Horowitz At Beach Wedding

Brittany Ishibashi is married to Jeff Horowitz. The couple tied the knot on May 29, 2011, on the Big Island of Hawaii. The wedding was officiated by SNL alum Nasim Pedrad at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel.

The husband-wife duo is parents to two children, a son and a daughter, whose names have not been disclosed officially. The family of four resides in Los Angeles.
