Chris Rock is an American standup comedian, actor, director, producer, and writer who began his career in Catch a Rising Star in 1984 in New York City.

The famous standup comedian Chris Rock was born in Andrews, South Carolina, on 7 Febuary 1965. After some years of his birth, his parents moved to Crown Heights, a neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. His father, Julius Rock, worked as a truck driver and his mother, Rosalie, worked as a social worker for the mentally disabled.
