On Sunday, March 27, 2022, The most awaited moment for the Hollywood industry, i.e., Oscar Award, was held at Dalby Theatre in Los Angeles. The 94th academy award honored the best film released between March 1 to December 31, 2021. Awkward Moment During Oscar Award

Suddenly, an awkward moment was created in the history of the Academic Award. The Famous comedian Chris Rock was slapped by actor Will Smith for cracking a joke on his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. At the beginning of the mark, Smith smiles a bit, but when his wife Jada rolls up, he goes on stage and slaps Chris rashly. Smith burst into anger and said, " keep my wife's name out of your.... mouth". Though the mic wasn't there, Smith's voice was audible to all the people present there. The auditorium was full of millions of people who went silent for a few seconds. Chris was embarrassed but managed to hush up the situation with a smile and no loud reaction.

Chris said Jada; I love you. G.I. Jane 2, cant wait to see it, all right?" as the joke perceives a crummy situation marking Smith's rupture in enraged.

In 2018, Jada shared about her deficiency, alopecia. She also shared her terrible experience that a huge lump of hair dropped down once she was taking a shower, making her distressed. So Jada decided to cut her hair short, and she continued to cut it. It was not an easy job girl to lose her hair since it's considered as biggest asset. Despite all hassle, The actress believed in herself, wore confidence, and beautifully accepted her drought.

Apology By Will Smith On His Instagram

Later on, Will Smith posted an apology post on Instagram. He confessed an atonement and said, "I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line, and I was wrong. I am embarrassed, and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be." It clearly shows Smith had grief and a strong love for his wife and couldn't take her medical condition as a joke.

Different celebrities were shocked and shared a different points of view regarding Will Smith's action. Tiffany Haddish's action seems to be appreciable. In a magazine, Haddish shared her thought," When I saw a Black Man stand up for his wife, that meant so much to me," Tifanny also shared, "As a woman, who has been unprotected, for someone to say, "Keep my wife's name out your mouth, leave my wife alone,' that's what your husband is supposed to do right? Protect you." 

Lakeith Stanfield uttered about the slap at the vanity van during the red carpet interview. Standfield said, " I don't know, it was crazy. It was surreal."   The eminent personality Daniel Radcliffe refused to share his opinion as he was bored by different people's perceptions, and he didn't want to be the next victim.
