Clerico was the third wife of Mr. Landon. Before Cindy, he first married Dodie Levy-Fraser: they tied the knot in 1956 but got a divorce in 1962. They had adopted two children named Mark Fraser Landon, who passed away on 11th May 2009, and Josh Fraser Landon. Mark Landon was an American actor. 

After that, Michael married his second wife, Marjorie Lynn Noe. The two tied the knot in 1963 and got a divorce in 1982. They shared 5 kids named Cheryl Lynn Landon, Leslie Ann Landon, Michael Landon Jr., Shawna Leigh Landon, and Christopher Beau Landon. Cause of Death of Michael Landon

On 5th April 1991, Michael was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer also known as exocrine adenocarcinoma. He talked about his disease, his family and his struggle to live in The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson on 9th May 1991. 

On 21st May 1991, he underwent surgery on his left leg. Sadly, he passed away on 1st July 1991 at the age of 54 in Malibu, California. His funeral was performed at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery in Culver City, California.
