NBC 5 Reporter Diana Zoga - From Family Backgroung to Relationship | Know It All

Diana Zoga is an Albanian-American journalist who is presently working as a consumer reporter for NBC5 in Collin country. She is one of their reporter, who grew up in this community.

Zoga was born in New York City and raised in a suburb of Dallas.

She was in the 2nd grade when she went to Richardson and Piano school, later she completed her graduation with a BA in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999.

Zoga's father is a Kosovar Albanian immigrant and she usually speaks Albanian at home with her family. She also had a sister.

During a war in Kosova in the late 1990s, most of her family had to displace and had to escape for refugee camps to survive.

So, in searching for her relatives she got inspired in journalism.

Career

Zoga's first started her career in journalism, while she was studying at the University of Texas-Austin, where she used to report for student-led KVR News 9.

Later that, Zoga worked as a reporter at a news station in Sherman, Texas, Tulsa, St.Louis, Oklahoma, Missouri for almost 15 years before joining NBC5 and went back to Dallas Fort/Worth in 2015.

In October 2017, Zoga left Fox 4 to join NBC 5. She worked in the KDFW-TV FOX 4 for 2 years as a general assignment reporter from 2015-March 2017.

However, prior to joining NBC 5, she worked at KXAS-Tv as a news reporter.

She used to work the 9 and 10 pm newscast at FOX, during her weekdays and also worked as an anchor during the weekend evening newscast.

Later in 2017, she was in North Texas at American Heart Association as a North Texas Media Relations Director.

At KMOV, she works as a reporter/anchor from 2008- March 2015, where she anchored from 2012-2014 at weekend morning newscasts and also filled in on weekday newscasts.

Also, she was a news reporter at KTUL from 2006-2008 and worked at 12 Media KXII Television as an anchor/reporter from 2003-2006.

Diana Zoga is married to Deron Sugg who is an attorney practicing as a family lawyer for almost 20 years. 

The couples are living their happily married life in Dallas, Texas, USA. The couple shares a daughter together.

The famous reporter Zoga's husband Deron Sugg completed his graduation in magna cum laude from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and in 2000 he was admitted to the bar after graduating from the University of Missouri School of Law.
