Gregory Vincent McElroy, Jr., aka Greg McElroy, is an American football commentator, former National Football League quarterback player and producer for ESPN's Network. He used to play for New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals.

He has won a Texas 5A state championship for Southlake Carroll. As a junior, McElroy led the Crimson Tide to an undefeated 14-0 season, including the 2009 SEC Championship and BCS Championship. His skin tone is white. He is also a writer.

McElroy played the part of a game versus Western Carolina, throwing his first collegiate touchdown pass in the third quarter to tight end Nick Walker.

In the 2008 season, Greg again saw limited action and made six appearances late in the games during the regular season.
