Currently, she is working at Th Milano School of Management regarding Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy besides, she is a candidate for New York Mayor since 2020.

Before, she has worked in a post like Co-Chair, Legal Analyst, Univerity professor, counselor to the mayor, and many more.

From marriage with Maya Wiley, Harlan Mandel is blessed with two beautiful daughters Kai Mandel and Naja Mandel.

Career

In 1989 Harlan Mandel started to work for Morrison & Foerster then after 7 years switched to Open Society Institue where he worked as Deputy General Counsel. 

He is a board member of Colab and Mail & Guardian, and also is Chairman of the board for Gurpa Eurozet. Furthermore, he is a member of the board of directors for Malaysiakini and Scroll Media. 

After working for 13 years as Deputy Managing Director ( 1998-2011) currently, he is working as Cheif Executive Officer at Media Development Investments Fund.
