Jeremy John Wade, aka Jeremy Wade, is an England-based television presenter, a freshwater detective and the host of the hit Animal Planet T.V. shows River Monsters and Mighty Rivers. In 1986, Jeremy made his acting debut in the Bollywood film Allah Rakha. After many years, in 2014, he made the film Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys, playing a Lamprey expert. He signed up to host the American television channel Animal Planet documentary series Mighty Rivers, in which he investigates the disappearance of freshwater giants from the world's most iconic rivers.
