Jill Duggar Dillard: Everything About Actress Molested as a Teen

Jill Duggar Dillard is an American TV personality best known for her appearance on the TLC television series 19 Kids and Counting from 2008 -2015. The same year she starred in the next series Jill And Jessa: Counting On (2015-2017).

She is renowned for her screen presence on TV. Recently she and her husband Derick Dillard shared their blissful moment of expecting another baby via blog after a ruinous miscarriage in October 2021.

Raised With 18 Siblings

Born on  May 17, 1991, in Tontitown, Arkansas, Jill Duggar is the second daughter of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar. She has 18 siblings including Josh, Jana, Jessa, Jinger, and Joy-Anna, and everyone appeared on 19 kids. Her parents are real estate agents.

As she had many siblings, she always had someone to play with her, it has helped her to build confidence within her.

She was homeschooled and never went to the regular school. She used to help her younger ones in education. At 16, she took a test for the General Education Diploma. Apart from studies, she took piano and violin classes in her childhood.

While in her teenage, she was reportedly molested by her elder brother Josh Duggar. Later he apologized to her and was forgiven.

She Has a Successful Career

Duggar stepped her career from the TV series14 Children and Pregnant Again (2004) which included getting engaged, getting married and giving birth. She is best known for the19 Kids and Counting on September 29, 2008, which is a regular series based on the Duggar family.

The show was canceled in 2015 following several scandals surrounding her brother Josh. In December 2015, she starred in another series, Jill & Jessa: Counting On with her sister Jessa, which lasted for 2 years until 2017.

The book titled “Growing Up Duggar” is co-written by Duggar along with her sisters Jana, Jessa and Jinger.

She also passed the exam for Certified Professional Midwife on 16 September 2016 which was featured in several series in 19 kids and counting. Besides this, she has also adapted ‘Missionary Career’ 

Married to Husband Derick Dillard

Jill Dugger and Derick Dillard are a married couple. First, they started their romance by dating in August 2013. In February 2014, Derrick proposed to Jill through her dad. He sang a song “When He Made You” written by singer Walker Hayes on proposing day. Their engagement was featured in the episode “The Proposal” on 19 kids and Counting.

The love birds tied the knot on June 21, 2014, near the Dugger family home in Cross Church, Springdale, Arkansas. They made Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina as a honeymoon destination.

Currently, they are living a life full of love and happiness. There isn’t any news regarding divorce and separation.

Pregnant With Third Child After a Miscarriage

Jill Duggar and Derrick Dillard have two sons Israel David Dillard, 6, and Samuel Scott Dillard, 4.

A few months back she had a  ruinous miscarriage in October 2021. It's been three months since they had a miscarriage and the couple is again expecting a child.

The couple shared their joyful time expecting a new baby through their official blog on Sunday, February 27, 2022. 

Molested as a Teen 

Jill Duggar was molested as a teen(12). She was a sex abuse victim of no other than her older brother Josh Dugger. Not only she, also four of his sister and family friends was touched inappropriately during his teen years.

Josh had groped for more than times when the girls were asleep. He also confessed to his parents about his activities. He was never charged with a crime. The parents settled this by sending him to a non-professional Christian and it became a turning point in Josh Life.

 In spite of not having an educational degree, Jill Dugger has amassed a pretty large amount of money through the TV shows and royalties of the book she co-authored with her sisters. Jill has come into her own as a person, wife and mother. Her income source is estimated to be $1 million along with her husband’s net worth.

 The husband-wife and their two sons now live in a house bought on their own which is in the northwest area of the state of Lowell, Ark.The family has a one-story home with a two-car attached garage. The two kids have a lot of yard space to play both in front and back.
