Kevin Delaney Kline, aka Kevin Kline, is an American based actor, director and voice artist. He is famous for his appearances in movies and shows like Bob's Burger, A Fish Called Wanda and A Midnight's Dream.

Kevin Kline was land on the earth on October 24, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born and raised by his mother, Margaret Agnes Kirk and father, Robert Joseph Kline. His parents owned several stores. His mother was a catholic of Irish descent, whereas his father was Jewish from a family that had emigrated from Germany. Kevin's father was a classical music lover and an amateur opera singer. His father also owned and operated The Record Bar, a record store in St. Louis that opened in the early 1940s and sold toys during the 1960s and 1970s. Kevin was raised in his mother's catholic faith. Kline has an older sister, Kate, and two younger brothers, Christopher and Alexander.
In 1965, Kevin graduated from the Saint Louis School. He performed selections from Shakespeare as a benefit at the dedication. Kevin attended Indiana University, Bloomington, where he was a classmate of actor Jonathan Banks.
In 1970, Kevin was awarded a scholarship to the newly formed Drama Division at the Juilliard School in New York. He began his career on stage in 1972 with The Acting Company.
In 1976, Kevin left The Acting Company and settled in New York City, briefly appearing as Woody Reed in the now-defunct soap opera Search for Tomorrow.
In the ensuing years, Kevin appeared many times in New York Shakespeare Festival productions of Shakespeare plays, including starring roles in Richard III (1983), Henry V (1984), and Much Ado About Nothing.
During the 1980s and early 1990s, Kevin made several films with director Lawrence Kasdan, including The Big Chill, I love You to Death, Grand Canyon, and Silverado. Kevin won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the British comedy A Fish Called Wanda, in which he played a painfully inept American ex- CIA thug opposite John Cleese's genteel British barrister and Jamie Lee Curtis femme fatale\con woman.
In 2008, Kevin won a Screen Actors Guild award for his portrayal of Jaques in Kenneth Branagh's film As You Like It, adapted from Shakespeare's play. Kevin became the 2,272nd recipient of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his contributions to the motion picture industry, located at 7000 Hollywood Boulevard.
Kevin Kline is married to actress Phoebe Cates. The couple began dating in 1985, and after three years of dating, they got married in 1989.
Together, the couple has two children, Owen Kline (born 1991) and Greta Kline (born 1994). His son Owen was diagnosed with Juvenile diabetes. The pair live on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York.
