The world welcomed the American radio personality, Kirk Minihane on 31st October 1974 in Winchester, Massachusetts, the United States of America. He was born as a third child of his parents: Peter Minihane and Patricia Doucet.

He even had suicidal thoughts and was hospitalized for few days.

For his schooling, he attended Winchester High School in Winchester. Later, he enrolled at Fordham University in Bronx, New York, and graduated in 1988.
