Matty Matheson was born on 7 February 1982 in the friendly neighborhood of Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.
The Canadian chef, Matty, was born in the house of engineer Stephen and waitress Joan Matheson whose grandfather was an RCMP official in Prince Edward Island.
Though Matheson had some bad influences in the past and was addicted to drugs from a young age he didn't go bad all the way.
He found his skills and creativity for culinary arts and is now a successful chef, but never had intentions of making it big as a chef.

Professional Career
Matheson began to work as soon as he dropped from school in Le Sélect Bistro under chef Rang Nguyen where he learned many things about culinary arts.
He also worked at the restaurant, La Palette in 2006. After which at the age 21 he opened up his own restaurant which he named Great Fellows, which became a success.
Later, In 2010, Matheson scored a chance to work as an executive chef at the new Parts & Labour restaurant.
Matty also gained fame after he released his YouTube show, Just a Dash, on October 9th, 2019.
