Michael Tell is an American rock music promoter who rose to stardom and gained the limelight as the ex-husband of American actress and mental health advocate, Anna Marie "Patty" Duke.

Their marriage lasted for 13 days and they separated on 9th July 1970. 

She then gave birth to Sean on 25th February 1971. Furthermore, she also stated that Tell wasn't his biological father and Astin was the actual biological father of Sean. In 1994, Sean underwent biological testing to determine his paternity, the result showed that Michael was his biological father.

Michael Tell's ex-wife Duke first married director Harry Falk in 1965 and divorced in 1969. In the early 1970s, she was dating three guys at the same time which included actor Desi Arnaz Jr., actor John Astin, and rock promoter Michael Tell.

She then exchanged the vows with John Astin in August 1972, welcomed a son Mackenzie Astin in 1973, and divorced in 1985. Lastly, Duke tied the wedding knot with drill sergeant Michael Pearce in 1986. The couple adopted a son, Kevin born in 1988, they were together until her death in 2016.
