Mirtha Jung - George Jung's Ex-Wife

Mirtha Jung is an American poet, entrepreneur, and writer who gained recognition as the former wife or first wife of the American drug trafficker and smuggler, George Jacob Jung.

In fact, they were married for 7 years and also welcomed a daughter, Kristina Sunshine Jung who is a former primary member of the Medellin Cartel. Moreover, Mr. Jung died on 5th May 2021 due to liver and kidney failure at his Weymouth, Massachusetts home.

Early Life:

Jung was born on 3rd December 1952 in Cuba. As per her DOB, she belongs to the birth sign Sagittarius. By nationality, she is a Cuban-American and belongs to the white ethnicity. 

Ex-married life with late George Jung:

Mirtha Jung is a divorced single mother as of now. She was married to her former husband, George Jacob Jung on 22nd March 1977. 

While they were married, she was just 24 years and Jung was 10 years older than her. Sources say they might have met each other in one of George's Columbian cocaine contacts. 

The following year, the former couple gave birth to a beautiful daughter named Kristina Sunshine Jung on 1st August 1978. The family of three was a healthy married life but suddenly things went wrong and Kristina's parents got divorced on 9th July 1984. 

After that, Jacob moved on with his second wife, Ronda Clay Spinello Jung.

Arrest warrant & Death of her ex-spouse:

Back in 1994, Mr. Jung was arrested in Topeka, Kansas when he was caught red-handed with 1754 pounds (756 kg) of cocaine. He was sentenced to 70 years but was reduced nearly by 20 years. 

At first, George was kept at Otisville Federal Prison, Mount Hope, New York then was transferred to Federal Correctional Institution, La Tuna, Anthony, Texas, and then to Fort Dix, New Jersey. 

On 2nd June 2014, Mirtha's ex-husband was released from jail. Unfortunately, he passed away on 5th May 2021 due to liver and kidney failure at his Weymouth, Massachusetts home.
