After Knowing about their daughter's marriage with Francois, Tamaki's father even blamed her for staining her family name.
After some years of their marriage, they welcomed their two beautiful daughters, Mari and Naomi almost 2 years apart in Osaka. Their eldest daughter Mari was born on 3 April 1996 whereas their youngest daughter Naomi was born on 16 Oct 1997.
Francois and Tamaki wanted their daughters to be great tennis players so they supported their dreams from Day 1. Francois coached both of her daughters himself by watching Richard William's DVDs.
For their girl's career, they even moved to the USA when Naomi was just three years old, but when USA Tennis Association refused to support and help in their developments Tamaki and Francois decided that their girls would rather play for Japan and they shifted to Japan when Naomi was 11 years old.
When the USA refuses to help Naomi and her sister in their developments, their parents wanted them to represent Japan. So that Naomi and Mari adopted their mother's surname because their parents wanted them to play for Japan in International Tennis tournaments.
