Rahel Solomon (born October 4, 1988) is an American reporter and Journalist who started working at CNBC as a general assignment reporter as of March in the year 2019.
Her reporting is visible on the television as well as CNBC'S digital platforms. Previously, Solomon was co-anchor of CBS 3's Eyewitness News This Morning and Eyewitness News at Noon in her hometown Philadelphia. In addition, she hosted the station's weekend morning news.
She joined Channel 3 from CBS-owned KCNC-TV in the year 2014 where she covered the trial of Aurora Theatre Shooter James Holmes and Colorado Flooding in 2014 for CBS This Morning.

Solomon was born in 1988 in Sudan to her Ethiopian parents. Her family decided to move from Sudan to Philadelphia when she was only three years of age.
The family moved to the US so that they could be closer to Solomon's aunt who was residing nearby in West Chester. As a child, she was raised and got to experience her teen days in West Philadelphia and Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, United States.
