Tevin Jermod Campbell, aka Tevin Campbell, is an American singer, songwriter and actor. He is popularly known for his hit song to Tell Me What You Want Me To Do. Some of his hit songs are Tomorrow (A Better You, A Better Me), Tell Me What You Want Me To Do, Alone with You, Can We Talk, etc.
Tevin Campbell landed on the earth on November 12, 1976, in Waxahachie, Texas, in the United States of America and later, he went to Los Angeles. In November 1991, Tevin followed the success of his first two singles by releasing his debut album T.E.V.I.N. which featured the R&B hit: Tell Me What You Want Me To Do, followed by Alone with You and Goodbye. His album reached number 38 on Billboard 200 chart and five on the Top R&B\Hip Hop Albums chart. T.E.V.I.N. earned him a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the 35th Grammy Awards.
In 1993 Tevin released his second album, I'm Ready, also produced by Jones and Medina. His album I'm Ready yielded the U.S. top ten pop and number 1 R&B hit Can We Talk in December 1993, and Always in My Heart was charted in the U.S. Hot 100 top twenty and 3 number on the R&B chart.
Tevin Campbell was featured on the soundtrack to the action comedian film, A Low Down Dirty Shame singing Gotta Get Yo' Groove On, produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis.
Tevin Campbell released his third hit album, Back to the World, which reached number 46 on the Billboard 200 chart and 11 on the Top R&B\Hip Hop Albums chart.
