Once upon a time cars may have been considered a luxury or a rare commodity to own. People would rather walk, catch a local transport or find other means to go from point A to point B. Gone are those days. We’re in the age of cars and electrification now. Time today is fleeting and cars need to be fast in order to cater to our lives that are now naturally in the fast lane.
People used to throw cash for aggressive, sleek looks but our preferences have changed now and, subsequently, so have the cars. The interior matters as much as the exterior; with safety, features, and aesthetics preferred as a priority. We’re here to share the best of vehicles that’ll be rocking all three in the upcoming year.
Of course, with models like those of Tesla and uber-smart cars making their way over to the budget market, internet connectivity is of prime importance. These cars make use of the internet to link up with applications embedded into them and to provide real-time updates to their drivers whilst on the road or away from the car. CenturyLink is a strong competitor in this area with its reliable internet that has a good range and superb speed.
What’s more, is that it can handle frequent changes in the mobile location it’s being used from. You could be on the highway; going to other states frequently for business meetings and taking calls on the go with zero lag and solid connections. And now, without further ado, let’s get into the first of these good-looking, functionally adept machines:
Kia has been a long-running competitor when it comes to the automobile market. Their Niro launched roughly six years ago as a solid addition to the SUV lineup and made waves with its appearance and spacious passenger capacity. Now, owing to the demands and recent preferences of customers, the Niro has been given a facelift and reimagined as a futuristic-looking model with a slew of features inside and outside its cabin.
First up, the Niro will be powered by a hybrid powertrain in the engine department, making it spew out a combined horsepower of 139 due to its electric motor. There’ll be an 11.1 kWh Lithium-ion polymer battery installed which is the best you can get in terms of safety and output in electrification[MG1]. The transmission will be a standard automatic 6-speed dual-clutch, which is now a trend seen settling into motor companies. All in all, the Kia Niro will be able to give you a smooth, enjoyable ride for up to 253 miles on a full charge.
The new and improved Tonale will be looking to establish its dominance in the luxury SUV niche. What sets it apart from its competition though is the classic look and feel all Alpha Romeo cars share but with a reimagined, modern design. This ends up sprinkling the Tonale with a luxury feel, being cheap (only in price) and having sports features installed into it. The result?
An electric beast that offers an all-wheel drive with 256 horsepower and a whopping 295 torque. These are big numbers when you consider the size and price range of the vehicle. On the inside, customers get a standard maroon-burgundy-colored interior lined with leather stitching and a generously extended infotainment screen.
You can never rule out Mercedes when talking about good quality, luxury cars. The Mercedes Benz EQE introduces a drastically different design probably because of the ode to electrification, and a dedicated EV chassis. The EQE will be shipping different models with tweaked designs and aesthetics depending on which one you get. The EQE 350 will come with an electric motor that’ll be supplying 288 horsepower along with 391 lb-ft of torque. And if you think this is good, then you’d be surprised to know that the EQE 500 model will be sporting more than 400 horsepower. Drooling yet?
It’s Mercedes so you bet they’ll be giving their EV lineup all the premium aesthetics. The standard interior look comes with a nice stone-white color with silver accents on almost everything except the dashboard which has its own premium wood-colored look and feel to it.
The 2023 Z is a tribute to Nissan’s decent run with its Z lineup which started all the way back in the ‘70s. The Z’s legacy was solemnized by the success of their 350 and 370Z which saw them incorporated into almost every Hollywood racing movie that needed to show speed, class, or give off punk vibes. The cars were a huge success overall.
The upcoming Z will be a coupe with a hardtop. That’ll give off a retro look on the outside. Under the hood, there will be a twin-turbocharged 3.0 liter V6 for all those that might think it won’t have much juice in it. The Z is boasting a horsepower of up to 400 and we can’t wait to hear its roar soon next year.
The Corvette is immortal at this point. With every iteration, it just keeps on getting better. This Chevy is known to be a high-end sports car with all the bells and whistles you’d find in a Ferrari. Chevrolet has been sneakily adding features to its Corvette under the hood over the years but lately, they’ve taken the battle to the exterior and made it look more aggressive and oh-so-appealing.
The 2023 model is no different and nods to the saying, “If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.” This Chevy comes speeding in with Brembo brakes, a 5.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, newly designed wheels, and a massive 670 horsepower right out of the factory. Beautiful, isn’t it?
We’ve rounded up the best of the upcoming vehicles in 2023. If you have the cash for them, consider buying these. Quality doesn’t come cheap and these cars define that in every sense. 2023 is already ushering in electrification on many fronts and some of these cars are owning up to that change as well. Whether you choose an EV or the usual, none of these will disappoint.
